What is new on Save Point Review: reviews added, scores revised and features launched. This is a log of changes to our own site, not industry news.
Save Point Review is live. The opening catalogue covers twelve online games across four groups: MMOs and RPGs, shooters, adventure and life games, and arcade and sport. Each has a full review, a five-part score breakdown, official screenshots and four first-session tips.
Our highest opening score goes to Deep Rock Galactic, a co-op game that manages to be generous with both its content and its pricing.
We have published the full method behind our scores, including the weights, a worked example and what each score band means. If you disagree with a mark, you will at least be able to see exactly how we arrived at it. Read How we score.
Alongside the reviews we have published four evergreen guides and a game finder that produces a shortlist from three questions. The finder runs entirely in your browser and stores nothing.
